Caelin Reeves – Ohana Institute

We are happy to introduce Caelin Reeves. He is a graduating senior of Ohana Institute. He is a native of Walton County and has many interests. Congratulations Caelin and we wish you a successful future!
What is your favorite subject, or are you following a certain career path? “Marine science”
Are you involved in sports or any other extracurricular activities? “I like to surf and write and produce music”
What will you miss about your school or classmates when you graduate? “Getting to hang out with my classmates everyday.”
Please tell us about your current plans after high school. And what inspired you to choose this path? “I want to continue to make music and I plan to pursue a career in marketing.”
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years? “I have no clue, hopefully to be successful in whatever career path I choose to follow.”
Please tell us a little bit about your family. “My dad was born and raised here and so were my two brothers and I. My mom came from a military family so she moved a lot and lived in some cool places like Okinawa and the Philippines before moving in the 6th grade.”
What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community? “Burrito Del Sol”
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why? “I would go to Hawaii because its a beautiful place full of great surf and cool people.”
What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? “Follow your passions. Mrs. Lettye Burgtorf”
Who inspires you to be better? “My mom and dad”
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? “Kevin Parker”
What is your favorite thing about living in Walton County? The beaches”
Favorite month? holiday? and best single day on the calendar? November”
Who or what do you miss the most right now? “Seeing friends”
What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over? “Travel”
