Haley Mashburn

Meet Haley Mashburn – a fireball in the vacation rental industry. Her strong work ethic and determination have taken her up the ranks to where she is now a crucial part of a large property management company in Walton County. Being the Director of Owner Relations is a demanding job, but this 25-year-old is up to the task. After college, Haley fell into a job as property manager. Her bosses were so impressed with her work that they continued to promote her to where she is today. “This wasn’t something I ever dreamed of doing”, Haley confessed. “Tourism is such a huge part of Walton County and I am glad I am a part of it.”

Haley is pretty much a native of the South. She moved to Fernandina Beach, FL when she was three years old and lived in various parts of Florida and Georgia before settling in Santa Rosa Beach. “It was the beach that drew me here”, she explains. “Nothing beats the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf.”

Haley met the love of her life in 2008 when she was only a freshman in high school. Life took them both in different directions and Haley ended up in Niceville, FL while Jonathon joined the Air Force and was stationed at Seymore Johnson in North Carolina. Over many years their paths crossed again. Jonathan left the Air Force and joined the reserves at Tyndall Air Force Base, just to be near Haley. The two were married in 2016 and Jonathan now works as a civilian at Eglin AFB.

Haley and Jonathan have a beautiful tow-headed two-year-old boy named Luke who keeps them on their toes. The family of three loves to spend time at the beach, go for bike rides along 30A and enjoy the local activities of Walton County.
Haley’s favorite restaurants are Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar and Chanticleer. “I love to listen to the local bands. Having live music just about everywhere you go is awesome. It brings our community together. There are so many restaurants to choose from and they all have great food!”

One of the things on Haley’s bucket list is to buy an RV and travel around the United States. She would love to spend some time in Hawaii as well. But for now, she is content to spend her days with her family and friends along the shores of the Emerald Coast.
